Project 2
Week 4
On this week, our group members discussed among ourselves, to figure out what the best idea was to go forward with. From that our group chose designing phone cases, since the rest of the ideas, didn't feel like it would fit within the timeframe we were given.
The next step was to figure out what type of research we were going to implement, and after further discussion, we landed on 2, which was survey and visual analysis. After that we made the survey and sent them out.
Week 5
Then we started working on our visual analysis. Where we decided to do 6 different album covers, divided into 3 sections. They are, typographic, photographic and illustrative album art.

FEEDBACK
Week 4
General Feedback:
When settling on the idea and finding a way to research the idea, make sure to keep the theme in mind. That is always important. If you have any updated ideas, you can do so on the presentation and update it on your blog for project 1.
Specific Feedback:
Since we hadn't settled on a specific idea, Mr Vinod, gave up some direction with one he thought was good. he said that we can relay the idea of phone covers with the purpose of the rock and roll culture doing rebellious things.
Week 5
General Feedback:
For everyone to look back at the feedback given and to make the few appropriate changes in the presentation posted on the blog.
Specific Feedback:
When we provided Mr Vinod to go though the survey questions we had created, he gave us some feedback to make a few adjustments here and there to make it look more proper.
Experience
The first week we first discussed among ourselves which methods we were going to implement in our research then we moved on to creating the survey and sending it out to people. After this, we worked on our visual analysis and to finishing the presentation and presenting it.
Observation
For this task we had to do a lot of observations, since one of the methods which we chose to do the research is visual analysis. For this we went through a lot of album art from the 70's and 80's rock genre, from different websites, until we chose our final albums.
Findings
Since we did not have a lot of time on our hands to do the research properly with the addition of holidays landing on one of the weeks, this project felt quite challenging. For me the biggest thing was trying to find a time where all the group members are available to finish the given tasks.
