REFLECTION
Experience
I found that this module didn't come naturally to me overall. When I made mistakes that I should have been more careful with, it was very challenging. Even though I was able to overcome a lot, I believe I was able to create as much as I possibly could. Most of the stuff I've done is make me happy. in particular for task 3A. Once I saw the finished outcome of the real printed book, I felt quite satisfied.
Observation
I believe that I can grasp things more clearly with ease. For instance, when I would spot a flaw in a layout. I spent a long time watching and learning, especially from Mr. Vinod. I am often afraid to be critical of the work I do. but I believe this is because I am still very much in my comfort zone. I'm worried that if I create something too extravagant, it would ultimately ruin my design. I believe I have seen myself a few times choosing the safest route, which ultimately proves to be rather boring-looking. But altogether, I believe that this module has encouraged me to push myself in ways that I have never done before.
Findings
I discovered how to be really patient with myself when I was constructing something in this module. I typically take a very long time to think about what I am doing and the steps I need to take to finish a task. The results aren't always what I had hoped for, just as I frequently make careless mistakes. For instance, I didn't conduct enough research before using Procreate to make the illustrations for the book, which led to some of them being blurry. My favourite assignment from this module, was task 3A. I think this is something that i truly enjoyed and would still love to take part in, in the future.
